Trust Matsilele, Johannesburg, March 19, 2013- Leading Zimbabwe economic gurus, Dr Nkosana Moyo and Professor Mthuli Ncube are set to grace 2013 Zimbabwe Investment and Trade Conference scheduled for the 3rd and 4th of April in South Africa.
The conference is going to be at Birchwood Hotel, just outside Boksburg, in the east of Johannesburg.
Dr Nkosana Moyo is a co-chair of the prestigious World Economic Forum and is also the executive chairperson of the Mandela Institute of Development Studies. Professor Ncube formerly with Wits Business School is currently the chief economist and vice president of the Africa Development Bank.
Under the theme “Invest in Zimbabwe: Building Partnerships’ in Diversified Economy” the high level conference will also feature Zimbabwe’s Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai with his two deputies Professor Arthur Mutambara and Thokozani Khupe.
South African Trade and Industry Minister Dr Rob Davies together with ambassador to Zimbabwe Vusi Mavimbela are also set to address the conference.
Zimbabwe’s exchequer, Minister Tendai Biti is also scheduled to give a speech on Zimbabwe’s economic outlook and future prospects while, Minister of Tourism Walter Mzembi is also going to give a speech regarding the upcoming United Nations World Tourism meeting to be co-hosted by Zimbabwe and Zambia in Victoria Falls in August.
Other distinguished keynote speakers to grace this occasion will be Minister of Mines and Mining Development Obert Mpofu and Minister of Economic Planning and Investment Promotion, Dr Tapiwa Mashakada.
This year’s conference is going to boost investor confidence as ministers from all political parties from Zimbabwe’s governing coalition are set to address the conference.
The Zimbabwe Investment and Trade Conference is an annual event organised by the Zimbabwe government in partnership with private companies meant to attract foreign investors to the country.
