BAT Zimbabwe Limited- Appointment of Directors and Company Secretary
The company announces the appointment of Professor Hope Sadza, Mr. Wael Sabra and Mr. Stephen Nyabadza as Independent Director, Alternate Director (to Mr. Jorge davit) and Company Secretary, respectively.
Professor Hope Sadza is the founding Vice Chancellor of Women’s University on Africa.
Prior to her appointment as Vice Chancellor, she held various management positions within the public sector including being Commissioner for the Public Service Commission.
Her qualification includes a PhD in Public Administration from the University of Zimbabwe, a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration degree from the same university.
Mr. Wael Sabra is the Financial Director for BAT Plc (Southern African Markets).
Prior to being appointed Finance Director, he held various finance related positions within the BAT Group including being Africa Middle east Regional Finance Transformation Project Manager.
He holds an MSc in Finance degree from the University of Florida and a bachelor of Administration degree from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.
Mr. Stephen Nyabadza is a registered legal practitioner, notary public and conveyancer. He is an admitted lawyer in Zimbabwe and Botswana.
Mr. Nyabadza holds a bachelor` of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Zimbabwe, a master of Laws with specialization in Corporate law from the University of South Africa and a master of Business Administration degree from Eastern & Southern African Management Institute.
